Nail Trends

Recently I've been looking at all sorts of nail polish, and have decided that these are my favorite types I've seen people wearing :)

This stuff is so awesome. I have some friends who have this nail polish in pink. You paint your nails black, then paint a top coat of crackle nail polish, and it gives you this awesome design you see in the picture above. I'm going to try it sometime!

Yellow-green seems like the color that's 'in'. I've seen at least 6 girls in the last two days wearing a similar color on there nails. I love this color anyways!

The last trend seems to be glitter. What's not to love? It's bright, sparkly, and shiny. I like sparkles!

Dragon Fruit Flower

These photos are of a Dragon Fruit flower. We have a Dragon Fruit plant in the front of our yard, and when it's ready to produce fruit it blooms a flower like the one above. The flower only opens up one night and wilts by morning, so I was happy I didn't miss my chance to photograph it! I've never had a dragon fruit itself before so I'm wondering if I'll like it when we get one off the plant.

Cookies !!!

These are the giant Snicker Doodles that are freshly baked. I was at first going to make fresh soft pretzels, but we were out of flour. I was then going to bake cinnamon rolls, but I realized we still did not have enough flour for that! I tragically had to turn to the boxed cookie mix route with homemade icing, but thankfully they still tasted really good. To me, any cookie is worth making except for oatmeal cookies, and so I enjoyed these. I also liked them, because I look the word Snicker Doodle. That's a good reason to bake cookies, right? ;) Have a fantastic cookie-filled day!

Sundays

I love Sundays. Church in the morning, free time in the afternoon, and bible study in the evening. Tonight I don't have bible study, but usually I do. In my free time this Sunday I have been taking tons of pictures (including the flower above), swimming, and have also been spending a generous amount of time on the computer. Something I also love about Sundays is that they always feel happy. I don't know why, but they always seem like a nice new start to the week!
