Nail Trends

Recently I've been looking at all sorts of nail polish, and have decided that these are my favorite types I've seen people wearing :)

This stuff is so awesome. I have some friends who have this nail polish in pink. You paint your nails black, then paint a top coat of crackle nail polish, and it gives you this awesome design you see in the picture above. I'm going to try it sometime!

Yellow-green seems like the color that's 'in'. I've seen at least 6 girls in the last two days wearing a similar color on there nails. I love this color anyways!

The last trend seems to be glitter. What's not to love? It's bright, sparkly, and shiny. I like sparkles!

Flowers, Water, and Plants

A plant in my backyard.

This is a picture of a weed. I know, it's way to happy to be one! So I'll just consider it a pretty weed :)

These are more flowers, but in this picture they actually look like weeds.

 Flowers in the neighbor's yard... actually the plant is 3/4 in their yard and 1/4 in ours, so I took the picture on our side.

An unripe orange. When they get ripe though, they always taste so sour on our tree! I never usually eat them, just throw them into the lake for fun :)

 The lake. it seemed really blue today.

 Reeds and Cattails that have broken and fallen into the water.
The bench. It may be a little old, but it's nice to swing on :)

Dragon Fruit Flower

These photos are of a Dragon Fruit flower. We have a Dragon Fruit plant in the front of our yard, and when it's ready to produce fruit it blooms a flower like the one above. The flower only opens up one night and wilts by morning, so I was happy I didn't miss my chance to photograph it! I've never had a dragon fruit itself before so I'm wondering if I'll like it when we get one off the plant.

School

Today I officially started school. My first day of my freshman year (Wow, I can't believe I'm already a freshman!) was good and bad at the same time. Great in that I'm officially a high schooler, great in that math was a piece of cake, and great that overall school wasn't too hard today. It was bad, in that I found out I have to memorize 27 definitions for my first Biology test! I have a BAD memory when it comes to something I don't want to remember (like science definitions), and so I'm a little nervous about science this year... hopefully it will get better! Then I looked at module 6, and found I have 45 definitions, so I changed my mind about that first thought ;) Oh well, it probably won't be too bad... I hope...

This is my 9th grade notebook cover which I designed. I took out my last name on the picture (if you can tell) but that's basically how it looks :) To me the cover makes school seem so much more inspirational... sort of... but anyways, I made it up of a bunch of pictures I found with stuff I liked, and stuff that looked cool. What I'm still wondering though, is what on earth is that green circle thing with a black outline on the bottom? I haven't figured it out, but I'm determined to! I liked the color, so I put it in LOL :)

Sundays

I love Sundays. Church in the morning, free time in the afternoon, and bible study in the evening. Tonight I don't have bible study, but usually I do. In my free time this Sunday I have been taking tons of pictures (including the flower above), swimming, and have also been spending a generous amount of time on the computer. Something I also love about Sundays is that they always feel happy. I don't know why, but they always seem like a nice new start to the week!

Accessorizing My Room

I recently went to Target, and found a bunch of neat stuff to put in my room, so here is some of what I got!

 I got 5 frames to put on the plant shelf in my room! Three of them are shades of teal, and 2 of them are silver.

 These are white boards! They are magnetic, and match the colors of my room so I decided they'd fit it well

 Finally, I hung these lanterns over my door. They look really cool at night!
