What Today Looked Like.

I'm Reading: Dragons In Our Midst. I'm working on the 4th book, Tears of a Dragon. They're so good! I don't want them to end, but I really want to get to the end... if that makes any sense at all. I have some catching up to do. If you've never read them, you've got to! In my opinion, my favorite was the 3rd, but read them in order. It's worth getting there.

I'm Listening to: Reliant K - Be My Escape. I heard the song for the first time ever today, and I listened to it, oh, I don't know... 15 times or so? It's so cool. The lyrics are really good. Besides that song, I've also heard random bits of Britt Nicole and Royal Tailor.

I'm Learning (On Guitar): Strangely Dim by Francesca Battistelli. The chords are easy enough to play, and it's pretty fun.

I'm Wearing: A neon yellow top, dark blue jean shorts, and diamond stud earrings. My nails are painted sky blue.

I'm Eating: These wonderful brownie, marshmallow fluff, peanut butter, rice krispy things. I don't know what they're called, but imagine brownie dough layered with that stuff. They were good.

I'm Wishing: That I could find my camera. It just disappeared on me today, and so that explains why this post remains photo-less.

The Last Days In Photos

Hello.

I've been meaning to write for forever, but got busy with stuff.

Anyways, I've been having a lovely 'Spring Break'. While everyone seems to be doing something awesome with this week off, I've been doing school. But that's okay. It's still been pretty fun. So here's what I've been up to when I'm not doing school: (just a note, some of the pics. are a little blurry)

 I've been outside all the time these past few days. The weather's been so brisk and refreshing compared to our usual Florida spring weather, so I've enjoyed the fresh air.

 A big debate is coming up for me at my homeschool group. My teacher has called it 'The All-Star Debate' because it's the highest scoring people against each other in a 2 vs. 2 debate. I have 13 minutes of speaking, so that leads me to do lots of planning... 

I've been journaling like always. I took this photo zoomed into some words on some random page, so I honestly have no idea what I was writing about. Recently I've been writing about awkward random thoughts that happen to come into my head. My journals are going to be seriously interesting to read someday...

Colored jeans!!! YAY! You can't see the color too well in this photo, but they're plumb colored and amazing. ;)

Monopoly: The game you play when you have 20 minutes to waste, but you instead end up playing 2 hours.

I finally learned how to Ripstik! I'm so happy about that! I also completed one of my goals. Anyways, it's awesome. It's fun. And for someone with no sense of balance, it actually went pretty well.

On rare occasions, when I'm extremely bored I draw video game characters. They're easy enough to draw, and pretty fun. This is Toon Zelda. I don't even know what video game she is in, but I decided to draw her. Soon I'll add color and post when I'm done... a work in progress...

Finally, I've been shooting and dribbling a generous amount. If I want to improve by next basketball season, I'm starting now. Being the worst on my team really pushed me to work harder during the season, so I might as well get a head start for the next one.

Random Day

So today I did everything. Okay, maybe not THAT much, but still a lot. 

The day started out with school. Spanish, Writing, Literature, Algebra 2, and everything else.

For lunch I had pizza. Yum!

I watched the movie "Courageous" which I really like this afternoon. It's kind of unusual for me since I don't usually watch movies in the middle the afternoon, but I felt like it today.

I decided to play Brain Age 2 on the Nintendo DS, which is also kind of weird for me since I'm not much of a Brain Age player. That game bores me easily.

...Then I spent some fun time on the laptop writing, reading, and writing down blogging ideas. I didn't get too far on those, but do know what I'll be posting everyday in December, so I guess I made some progress!

I ate dinner, and after my family left for our Small Group.

At Small Group we had our music time, going over the sermon time, and prayer time. It is the second-to-last night for one of my friends to go to our Small Group, as her family is moving 3 hours away :(

We did have fun though afterwards with the time we had- someone baked wonderful strawberry-chocolate cupcakes which we enjoyed, and then we played Ninja. For those of you who don't know what Ninja is, it's kind of a strange game. Sometimes it's fun, and sometime's it's weird. Basically, you're trying to hit each other's hands, and dodge other people. After playing that with all the girls a few times, I ate another cupcake and we left. 

So I am now home, writing this. I guess that pretty much sums up my day. Maybe not the best day ever, but still a pretty good one! <3

Volleyball

Today I watched my homeschool group and my church's school compete in volleyball. I was kind of hoping my homeschool group would win, but they didn't sadly. Oh well. It was enjoyable to watch! There were 2 JV games and 3 Varsity ones. I could NEVER play volleyball myself since my arms would get tired in seconds, but it looks fun to play anyways :) Oh, and I wish I had taken the picture above like most of the picture I post, but that one just seemed to fit the subject so I posted it instead. :) T T Y S!

Annoying Shoppes

I've had a weird night, but let's not go into that ;) It's not been too interesting, just kind of weird.
Today I've done quite a lot of things. I played basketball, ate ice cream, listened to music, went swimming, wrote a long story, and cleaned through emails. I also went shopping this morning with my mom. When we were driving into one small shopping center, I noticed something which always drives me insane. It's this sign with the name of the shopping center, but instead of writing it 'shops' they write 'shoppes'. I always hate the formal version of the word shops. It just doesn't seem right! They seem like two totally different words. To me, 'shoppes' should really be pronounced 'shoppys' instead of 'shops'. I know I shouldn't get hung up on that, but I do. You know what else I used to get hung up on? The spelling of 'two', 'too', and 'to'. It doesn't bother be much anymore, but I used to get me annoyed. If I were to go through the list of spellings that annoy me though you'd be reading this all night, so let's leave it at that ;)

Next Week...

As you can maybe see above, I was having too much fun with a calculator when I was supposed to be doing math... anyways, hi.
 
  I know it's still Friday, but I'm going to give you an overview of next week for me anyways. It's not super exciting or anything, but I always think it's fun to see what people are up to, and so that's why I'm posting.

     Sunday is going to be extremely busy for me! Sunday school, church, a surprise part/lunch after church, discipleship group, and youth group. Let me explain a little more. The surprise party is for a family who goes to my church and hosts our small group, and so it's sort of like a 'thank you' for them always hosting it. Discipleship group is a teen's bible study program my church started last year. It was really great, so I decided I'd do it again. You're put into a small group of people (generally 2 or 3) and also have an adult leader, and meet for bible studies every Sunday night. After bible study's over we would talk, play games, and even sometimes go out for ice cream at McDonald's! It was lots of fun.
     Monday is school and more school. I also might go to a JV volleyball game since I have some friends competing in it.
     Tuesday is also a school day.
     Wednesday is homeschool group classes at HEAT.
     Thurday is... wait, is that a school day too!?
     Friday is also school! :(
     Saturday is no school, but nothing else. Ha ha, so maybe it's not such an interesting week after all ;) Oh well.

Well, I guess I'm done talking. I don't have anything much more to say, so I' think it's a good time to stop.

Too Much To Do, Too Little Time!

Do you ever feel like you have TONS to do in a day, and not much time to do it? That's how I feel this afternoon. With no school you'd think I'd have plenty of time, but instead I'm hurrying around as I forgot about a LOOOOOONG list of things I need to do. I did decide though, I could probably squeeze in a short break to blog. :) So, since it's my mom's birthday today, I baked her a cake this morning. I will have to post the recipe tomorrow, as it was really good... well, at least I hope it is!... I haven't tasted yet, but it looks pretty, so I think it will taste good. To me at least, the prettier it looks, the better it tastes. LOL :) OK. So anyways, my experimental cake baking took place this morning, for lunch I had McDonald's (yum) and this afternoon I feel like I've been doing so much! I realized that my favorite white blouse I was going to wear to our small group tonight was dirty (oh no!) and so I had to hurry and wash it. I then came to realise that I also needed to finish writing a script for group tonight!.... You see, after small group is over, and everyone's just talking, I and the other girls have been working on a play we plan to put on for everyone in our small group next potluck. The girls preforming in it are ages 6-12, and another girl my age and I are directing it... and I totally forgot, but I said I would try to finish writing the scripts by tonight. They are written, but I sort of have a problem with writing anything short... I honestly don't think a 6 year old can memorize a 24 page script, and so it obviously needs MAJOR cuts, which I'm supposed to be doing this afternoon. As I was about to start working on that, I realized I had forgotten completely about all the chores I had to do today!... and then I realized I had also forgotten about something else... and something else... and something else, which added to the long list of other things I had to do. So put simply, I've been VERY busy this afternoon! Oh well :) Hope you've all had a great day!
