The Last Days In Photos

Hello.

I've been meaning to write for forever, but got busy with stuff.

Anyways, I've been having a lovely 'Spring Break'. While everyone seems to be doing something awesome with this week off, I've been doing school. But that's okay. It's still been pretty fun. So here's what I've been up to when I'm not doing school: (just a note, some of the pics. are a little blurry)

 I've been outside all the time these past few days. The weather's been so brisk and refreshing compared to our usual Florida spring weather, so I've enjoyed the fresh air.

 A big debate is coming up for me at my homeschool group. My teacher has called it 'The All-Star Debate' because it's the highest scoring people against each other in a 2 vs. 2 debate. I have 13 minutes of speaking, so that leads me to do lots of planning... 

I've been journaling like always. I took this photo zoomed into some words on some random page, so I honestly have no idea what I was writing about. Recently I've been writing about awkward random thoughts that happen to come into my head. My journals are going to be seriously interesting to read someday...

Colored jeans!!! YAY! You can't see the color too well in this photo, but they're plumb colored and amazing. ;)

Monopoly: The game you play when you have 20 minutes to waste, but you instead end up playing 2 hours.

I finally learned how to Ripstik! I'm so happy about that! I also completed one of my goals. Anyways, it's awesome. It's fun. And for someone with no sense of balance, it actually went pretty well.

On rare occasions, when I'm extremely bored I draw video game characters. They're easy enough to draw, and pretty fun. This is Toon Zelda. I don't even know what video game she is in, but I decided to draw her. Soon I'll add color and post when I'm done... a work in progress...

Finally, I've been shooting and dribbling a generous amount. If I want to improve by next basketball season, I'm starting now. Being the worst on my team really pushed me to work harder during the season, so I might as well get a head start for the next one.

Lots Of Random Thoughts

OK- so this is going to be a REALLY random post! Today's random thoughts:

-Francesca Battistelli is coming out with a Christmas Album. So exited about that!

-Next week I have my first debate. Up until now we've basically been doing a lot of research, but now we'll start actually competing.

-I found out that on my birthday I'll be playing against CCS in basketball! CCS is my church's school. That will be weird since I know nearly everyone on CCS's team, but will be competing against them instead of working with them.

-Today I took a Biology test and I actually got 100%! That was shocking, as I thought I would completely fail it.

-I've not painted my nails in a whole 5 days. That's sort of a long time for me.

-I realized that I do something weird. You know those 'fruit on the bottom' yogurts? Well instead of mixing it all together, I eat all the yogurt on top first and then eat the fruit. 

-I am thrilled, because my typing speed is now 100 wpm! That's when I've just had a lot of sugar... when I'm not so sugary, my time is 90wpm.

-I listened to the Britt Nicole song 'Amazing Life' about 12 times in a row today. I get songs stuck in my head all the time. I tell myself the best way to get songs un-stuck is to listen to them more, but instead I found myself singing it when I was supposed to be doing math :)

-I've been wanting to wear a scarf forever, but it's been so hot outside! I finally decided I would just wear one today :)

First day of HEAT

Today was my first day of Debate and Writing at the homeschool group HEAT. In writing my teacher asked if anyone had a blog. I raised my hand... there were 15 people in my class, and I was the only one who blogged, and so he asked me to give an example of something I've blogged about! Uhhhhh.... My mind went blank... I sure don't think anyone wanted to hear about the crazy shoes I posted ;) Ha ha. So I didn't quite talk about that...
Besides that, nothing too interesting went on today. Maybe next time I'll have something more of note to say :)

Stuff I'm looking forward to...

In exactly 10 days, 17 hours, and 45 minutes I'll be starting HEAT classes!

In exactly 74 days, 7 hours, and 45 minutes I'll be joining Heat's Basketball team!

In 117 days, 17 hours, and 44 minutes I'll have my Driver's permit!

I know that was really random, but I decided you might as well know when I do certain things ;) So onto the topics, I am thrilled about starting HEAT classes. I am taking debate and writing (which some of you already know). To me, I LOVE competition, making debate a great class choice. I also love writing, and so that should be fun as well. 

I am convinced that basketball is the best sport to ever be invented, and have been asking to play with HEAT for 4 years, so I am also very thrilled to be starting that in Fall!

Finally, I REALLY want to drive, and am planning to get my permit the day after my birthday, and so I am looking forward to that as well!
